Original speaking prompts to try
Describe a busy place in your town and explain what people do there. Explain whether studying early in the morning or late in the evening suits you better. Describe a skill you learned from another person. For each prompt, give a direct answer, add one specific example, and explain why that example matters.
Example response: studying in the morning
‘I prefer studying in the morning because I can concentrate before work begins. Last month, I reviewed vocabulary for twenty minutes after breakfast each day. That routine was easier to maintain than evening study, when I often felt tired.’ This original response states a preference, supports it with a personal example, and explains the connection. Adapt the structure to your own experience.
Review one recording in three passes
First check whether the response actually answers the question. Next identify one idea that needs a clearer example. Finally replay a short section and check whether individual words and sentence endings are understandable. Repeat the response with one improvement rather than trying to change every feature at once.
