If unfamiliar words slow you down, begin with word recognition and vocabulary in context. If you understand individual sentences but miss the writer’s point, choose passage comprehension. If you struggle to produce an answer, use a writing prompt or describe a familiar place aloud before studying a model.
Turn practice into a repeatable study routine
Try a short activity without help, review each explanation, and record one error pattern. Write a fresh sentence or explanation that uses the corrected skill.
