Develop a point with a specific example
Weak: ‘Public parks are good and very useful.’ Stronger: ‘Public parks give residents a free place to exercise; for example, the walking path near my home helps older neighbours stay active.’ The revision names a benefit, identifies who gains from it, and makes the claim concrete. Use the same revision method on your own draft.
Review meaning before polishing vocabulary
First check whether every part of the prompt has an answer. Next identify a sentence that needs evidence or explanation. Finally check subjects and verbs, tense consistency, articles, and punctuation. Replacing a familiar word with a difficult synonym only helps when the new word expresses the intended meaning precisely.
